Golden State Warriors
It was not necessary to reach the seventh game. Steve Kerr's boys were crowned at the Garden in Game 6 having to sing "we are the champions" away from San Francisco.
The series began with the Warriors' all-powerful attack testing the Celtics' solid defense.
Those from the Bay started as favorites but soon Ime Udoka's team lowered Curry and company from the clouds and made them step on solid ground putting the 2-1 in favor of the Massachusetts franchise. 27 points from Brown, 26 from Tatum and 24 from Smart, were the torment to put the eastern champion ahead, even against all odds.
However, it was not enough. Those from San Francisco came out with their homework up to date in the following games; Wiggins' figure obscured Tatum's performances, Curry jump-started the Finals MVP race, Thompson completely forgot he was seriously injured, and Green did what he really does.
The losses were a lot of punishment against some Warriors who played a basketball that should be put in schools, but not only this year but all of the last decade.
In Golden State, everyone is happy with the final 4-2, especially Stephen Curry when he achieved the MVP that he lacked. Those from Boston, like every year in the wonderful NBA, will try again next season.
