The Jazz, first in the Western Conference, beat the Warrios' play-in nightmare, the Memphis Grizzlies, 4-1. The individual performances of Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, who finished the passage to the semifinals with 30 points and 10 assists, were the perfect complement to go with strength to the fight against the Clippers.

Doncic did what he could to lead his team to the next round but, despite the Slovenian's incredible performances as the night of 2-2 where he became the youngest player to achieve a triple-double of the frivolous statistic of 43 points - 17 rebounds - 13 assists and the icing on the triple over the horn, the reality was that the duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George was a tough bone that took the series to 4-3 for the Angels who enjoyed Kawhi's final performance with 45 points in game seven.

The Clippers faced the Jazz's tough defense in the semifinals in which they were 2-0 losing, but managed to turn the series around to finish 2-4. That's how the Utah Jazz said goodbye to the fantastic season they had been doing.

Less complicated was the Suns' trajectory with the rejuvenated Chris Paul and the successful triplist Devin Booker, who soon took the Lakers out of Lebron with a 4-2 and much faster than the Nuggets of MVP Nikola Jokic, winning the series by a resounding 4-0.

Paul George's team left their skin against Luka Doncic and eliminated Rudy Gobert's team with an unexpected performance by Terance Mann but, after beating the Slovenian and the best defender of the year, they lost the conference final against the Suns to suffer the luxurious participation of the coming to more Chris Paul who scored a statistic of 41 points - 8 assists - 4 rebounds in the last game.

After being left behind by Russel Westbrook's Wizards, the revulsive Knicks, Jayson Tatum's irregular Celtics and, the current runners-up, the Heat. Passion was lived in the East, where people enjoyed legendary semifinals with the 3-4 between the 76ers and Hawks, and the 4-3 between the Bucks and Nets.

The four teams opted at all costs to have a place in the final battle of the conference, especially those in Brooklyn who, as we anticipated, put together a team worthy of the city of skyscrapers.

On Antetokounmpo's path, the Miami Heat went 4-0. Easy to be against the runner-up of last edition, but it was not going to be the same against Durant, Irving and Harden who sweated until the seventh game to leave a historic 4-3 to the fans. Legendary performances like KD's were experienced, but they were not enough to lead the team led by Steve Nash to the conference grand final.

The Nets' project did not fail, only that they ran into the Greek who, at last, was surrounded by a team worthy of reaching the conference finals. But it wasn't all joy for Milwaukee, as an unexpected injury to the two-time MVP jeopardized the matchups against the inspired Trae Young.

However, the team brought out the winter spirit of the North to beat the Atlanta Hawks 4-2, thanking Antetokounmpo for his stellar return to prepare for the finals against the Western champion.
